Dr. Qasem Alhammouri is a highly experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist and Aeromedical Examiner with over 23 years in general and anterior segment ophthalmology. He has performed thousands of cataract, squint, and trauma surgeries and is a specialist in pediatric ophthalmology and glaucoma care. With German fellowship training and strong academic affiliations, Dr. Qasem offers a wide range of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic ophthalmic solutions at University Hospital Sharjah.

    • Successfully performed: More than 8,000 cataract surgeries, including: 

     Extracapsular Cataract Extraction  Phacoemulsification (Phaco) surgery  Successfully performed: Over 750 squint surgeries  Successfully performed: More than 300 eye trauma (globe rupture) surgeries
