About Prof. Oladejo Olaleye

Professor Oladejo Olaleye is a UK CCT-certified Consultant in Otolaryngology with extensive expertise in Head and Neck, Thyroid, and Transoral Robotic Surgery. With over 20 years of experience within the NHS UK, he is recognised for his leadership in advanced head and neck surgical services.

He completed two prestigious fellowships in head and neck cancer surgery, including robotic surgery training in Adelaide, Australia. He leds the establishment of the Transoral Robotic Surgery (TORS) service at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and performed the first TORS procedure in Leicester, UK.

He also has advanced expertise in thyroid surgery, complex head and neck cancer surgery, and salivary gland surgery. He previously served as the Thyroid Cancer Multidisciplinary Team Lead at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.

Professor Olaleye holds academic appointments as an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Leicester, UK, and Visiting Professor at Bowen University, Nigeria. He is actively involved in teaching medical students and residents, as well as contributing to innovative surgical research.
