World Arthritis Day

On the occasion of International Arthritis Day, an awareness initiative was organized at the University Hospital Sharjah and collaborated with Manzil Healthcare Services and Friends of Arthritis Patients to raise awareness of the risks of Arthritis, and its initial signs to prevent osteoarthritis. As we conducted Bone Density Tests for the patients and staff.

On the occasion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the University Hospital Sharjah team was present at the Department of Housing of the Government of Sharjah, where our team performed free medical screenings and a lecture on breast cancer, how to self-examination and the diet followed to reduce the chances of developing breast cancer.

Hand washing Event

University Hospital Sharjah team was present at Al Falah Nursery in Sharjah during the hand washing event to spread awareness about healthy and sound habits is one of the most important factors helping to reduce and control the spread of infection. Our team provided an integrated program to increase infection control education among children, teaching them the correct ways to wash hands, coughing etiquette, and how to maintain personal hygiene.
