Al Hamriya freezone Authority Breast Cancer Event

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the University Hospital Sharjah team was present at the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority headquarters during a health event for employees. Our team delivered an educational lecture on breast cancer, emphasizing the importance of regular self-examinations and key tips to reduce the risk of developing breast cancer. Additionally, our team provided a range of medical check-ups for the employees.

Breast Cancer awareness and self-examination workshop in collaboration with the SHA

UHS, in collaboration with the Sharjah Health Authority, organized an awareness workshop aimed at increasing awareness of the importance of regular self-examination for early detection of breast cancer.

During the workshop, Dr. Abeer Al Qudra, Obstetrics and Gynecology Doctor, provided comprehensive information about the symptoms of breast cancer and ways to prevent it.

Breast Cancer lecture in woman’s union association

University Hospital Sharjah team was present at at the Sharjah Union Women’s Association during a health event. Our team delivered an informative lecture about breast cancer, the importance of regular self-examinations, and other essential tips to reduce the risk of breast cancer. Additionally, we provided a group of medical screenings and consultations on how to perform self-examinations, distributed gifts from our participating companies.

Breast Cancer awareness lecture in University Dental hospital

UHS team was present in university dental hospital and delivered an awareness lecture on breast cancer, the importance of periodic self examination and other important tips to follow to reduce the risk of breast cancer.

Al Qasimia University open medical day exhibition

University Hospital Sharjah team, in collaboration with the Sharjah Health Authority, participated in the Open Medical Day exhibition for students at Al Qasimia University. This initiative aimed to raise awareness and promote health education, with our team providing a range of medical screenings and gifts for attendees

University Hospital Sharjah wound care nursing department is committed to arising awareness and promoting knowledge about pressure injuries to improve care and prevention, which have the ability to significantly impact on our patients and loved one’s quality of life.

Health awareness day for Al Majd School in Sharjah

As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting health awareness, the team from the University Hospital Sharjah participated in an event at Al Majd School in Sharjah.
The event aimed to highlight the importance of healthy nutrition for children and its role in preventing chronic diseases.
Our medical team also provided a range of medical check-ups and specialized consultations for the teachers, along with distributing gifts provided by the hospital

World Quality Day Celebration 2024

University Hospital Sharjah celebrated World Quality Day on November 17, 2024, with the presence of His Excellency, H.E Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Muhairi, Chairman of Sharjah Health Authority and Chairman of Board of Trustees, UHS. He delivered an inspiring speech, thanking the staff for their dedication and efforts in providing exceptional services to patients.

The event was also attended by Her Excellency Professor Amal Ahmed Al-Qatari, Director of Sharjah Health Authority, Vice president of the Board of Trustees UHS, and Dr. Khalifa Al-Nuaimi, CEO and Board Member of UHS. During the ceremony, the exceptional efforts leading to the achievements of 2024 were highlighted and acknowledged.

As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting health awareness, the team from University Hospital Sharjah participated in a special event at the Shara'a Center for Entrepreneurship in Sharjah.

The event focused on highlighting the importance of healthy nutrition. Our team provided medical check-ups and consultations to attendees, in addition to distributing gifts from the hospital
